Sledding Hill Hahneberg

One of Berlin's longest sledding descents can be found on Spandau's Hahneberg. The track of around 600 metres length scores big time with high speeds.

The “new” Hahnerberg is not a debris heap like Teufelsberg or Insulaner but came about from a disused gravel pit. The hill of 97 metres height is located in the middle of a recreation park.

You can find one of Berlin’s longest sledding tracks here. The track spirals around the sides of the hill and tends to build up speed, though it is not overly steep. There is also another smaller track nearby, really suited for small children.
