The traditional Chinese tea house Zum Osmanthussaft is located in the Gardens of the World in Berlin-Marzahn. In the Chinese garden, at a small oasis on a lake, the tea house is a popular place to rest, enjoy and dream.

The tea house offers 40 selected Chinese tea sorts, which show the large spectrum of Chinese tea specialities. The preparation of the tea is celebrated in the Chinese garden in the gardens of the world in a very traditional way.
Tea lovers can get to know the wide range of Chinese teas and take part in a demonstration of a real Chinese tea ceremony after registration.

The methods of traditional tea preparation practiced here dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is still popular in southern China today. Through constant practice, the Chinese tea master Yali Yu has achieved great perfection and demonstrates Chinese tea art in the Berghaus zum Osmathussaft.

The tea house also offers tea tastings, tea seminars and evening events in addition to the presentation of the Chinese tea ceremony. The Chinese Garden is also the ideal setting for company and family celebrations.

If you want to visit the Chinese tea house in the Chinese garden, you have to pay for access to the garden, but it’s worth it.
