Yet, it feels surprisingly calm. The beer garden is somewhat hidden under the tall trees of Tiergarten, directly by the water. Homemade pretzels and “Leberkäse” are reminiscent of Bavaria, while the crispy stone oven pizza brings to mind a short trip to Italy. In addition, there are homemade lemonades without artificial flavors and freshly tapped beer. It gets romantic when you rent a boat and take a spin on the Neuer See. The boat rental starts in spring, weekdays from 12:00, and on weekends and public holidays from 11:00. The price is 14 Euros per hour.

Between fireplaces, candlelight, and plenty of wood, you can eat and relax from morning to evening with a view of the lake. The breakfast offers its own highlights: freshly poached eggs on homemade brioche, crispy pancakes with Greek yogurt and blueberries, or the in-house C.a.N.S. breakfast. In winter, goose dinner and curling are also added. This makes this waterside destination truly worth a visit all year round. Especially in summer, the Café am Neuen See is a place for the whole family: While children play, adults enjoy a cool drink in the spacious beer garden.
