The connectivity speaks for the address, as the Schönleinstraße U-Bahn station (U8) is a good two hundred and fifty meters away, and Hermannplatz (U7 and U8) is about half a kilometer away. Those arriving by car will not yet find parking management in Reuterkiez, but must bring patience, as the streets are consistently occupied. Maybachufer itself is one of the most popular walking routes in Neukölln, so a stroll along the water can be easily incorporated before dinner. The establishment was founded by Muhamed Idrizi, who has been shaping the kitchen ever since. A table can be booked by phone or via the restaurant’s reservation form, which is advisable on weekends. Caputo Pepino does not offer a lunch menu; operations focus entirely on the afternoon and evening.

Fourteen Pasta Dishes from Carbonara to Truffle

Caputo Pepino’s pasta menu is unusually extensive, featuring fourteen dishes, which is rare in this price range. The classics form the entry point, as Carbonara, Bolognese, Aglio e Olio, Arrabiata, and Lasagne are all priced at 13.50 Euros, a competitive level in Reuterkiez. The menu then ranges further from Pesto and Amatriciana to dishes with fish and seafood, such as Frutti di Mare or Salmone Nero Sepia. The upper end is marked by a pasta with truffle for 22.90 Euros. A special feature is the Pasta Mista, which is also available as a portion for two people, explicitly intended for sharing. Those who do not wish to stay at the restaurant can pick up their dishes; the establishment explicitly does not operate a delivery service. A private event room is available for larger gatherings, and the kitchen also offers catering. It is noteworthy how evenly the prices are staggered within the individual categories, making the extensive menu easy to navigate despite its length. Additionally, the establishment offers a bonus program for takeout orders.
