Paradise Café on Kirchstrasse in Moabit serves breakfast in Berlin at a level the neighborhood has long desired: Mediterranean breakfast variations, homemade cakes, and freshly squeezed juices in a pastel-colored feel-good atmosphere that's just as impressive as what lands on your plate.
From Berlin Breakfast to Oriental Brunch
If you want to have breakfast in Berlin without having to choose between “classic” and “creative”, Paradise Café is the right place for you, as the menu allows for both. The Berlin Breakfast comes with cheese, ham, jam, and an organic egg, while the Greek Breakfast scores with feta, grilled tomatoes, and homemade tomato pesto. If you want to travel a bit further: The Oriental Breakfast brings homemade hummus, avocado, roasted vegetables, tahini, and pomegranate to the table. In addition, there are organic egg omelets, creative sourdough toasts, homemade banana bread, and fresh Bircher muesli. A creamy burrata combo also awaits as another brunch favorite. Coffee is not skimped on either: Cappuccino, Flat White, Matcha Latte, Strawberry Matcha, and Iced Drinks are on the menu; And in good weather, an Aperol Spritz on the sunny side of Kirchstrasse. In the afternoons, a visit is also worthwhile for the changing selection of cakes.
Paradise Café: Moabit’s Most Colorful New Addition with a Backstory
Paradise Café is run by restaurateur Puyan Zamankhan, who was already active in the area. Directly opposite, he operates Café Moa, a coffee shop he has successfully run for over ten years. With Paradise, he deliberately wanted to appeal to a new target group. He took over a former computer store at Kirchstrasse 25, had it renovated, and turned it into his Paradise. Moabit is currently transforming into a trendy district. Among students and artists, the neighborhood around the Arminius Market Hall has long been considered an insider tip. If you want to stroll through the neighborhood after breakfast: The Arminius Market Hall, just a few minutes’ walk away, offers a large selection of fresh produce as well as diverse gastronomy and artisanal delights. So Moabit is doubly worth it.
