The Hoppetosse sailed across the North Sea in the late 1920s as one of the largest and most luxurious passenger ships; today it is exclusively an event ship.
The Hoppetosse is no longer a public restaurant. The Hoppetosse can only be booked as an event location, for example for a wedding or a milestone birthday. Catering is provided by the team from Club der Visionäre, which is located opposite Arena Treptow, which previously operated the Hoppetosse.
