The restaurant boat Deckshaus is permanently closed.
The Deckshaus is a small harbour restaurant and bistro on the rear wheeler Jeseniky. The vessel is moored tightly in Berlin-Mitte’s historical port with view of Fischerinsel and the lock of Mühlendamm. Nearby are Märkisches Museum, countless embassies on Wallstraße and also St. Nicolas’ Quarter is not far away.

Still, Deckshaus gives the impression of an oasis of tranquility in the tourist bustle of the city. They serve both regional dishes according to the season and true Berlin classics. The mess under deck can be rented for groups of up to 40 for borthdays, company functions or school reunions.

Every six week, the boat invites for a singer/songwriter event with its life show “Songs of the boat”.
