Sunyoga Kreuzberg: Hot Yoga in the M33 Courtyards
SUNYOGA has been teaching Hot Yoga in Berlin since 2002, making it one of the first Hot Yoga studios in Germany. The Kreuzberg studio is located in the M33 courtyards on Mehringdamm, in the first backyard, one minute from the subway. The 300 square meter factory floor features a 120 square meter practice room for up to 40 people, a joint-friendly linoleum floor, ventilation with a fresh air filter, and a lounge.
Classes are held at around 40 degrees. Hot Classic is the traditional series with 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises and is also suitable for beginners. Hot Fusion is significantly more dynamic, and Silent Classes and Pilates are also offered. Instruction is in German and English.
Two Studios with One Membership
A second SUNYOGA studio is located in Friedrichshain on Torellstraße, and both can be used with one membership. A single class costs 13 Euros for 60 minutes and 19 Euros for 90 minutes, while the unlimited monthly membership is 139 Euros. Mats and towels can be rented for 2.50 Euros each, and the showers are spacious.
