Hidden behind the Titanic Hotel on Chausseestrasse is the befine Sports & Spa with 3,000 square meters of wellness space: an oriental hammam, Finnish sauna, steam bath, and a light-filled indoor pool.

The befine Sports & Spa in Berlin-Mitte

Those looking for the entrance will need a moment. The access is somewhat hidden to the left of the hotel, reachable via a backyard, which gives the place the impression of a well-kept city secret. Inside, anything but understatement awaits. An impressive 3,000 square meters extends into a spacious wellness landscape with an oriental character. The hammam is clearly the centerpiece. It is lined with noble marble, and guests can relax on the hot stone or book traditional washings.

Those who prefer something more classic will also find what they’re looking for. A spacious Finnish sauna and a steam bath are available for sweating, and after the sauna session, ice fountains and experience showers provide the necessary cooling. Particularly pleasant: sauna infusions take place hourly, some with small extras like peelings, and water carafes and fresh fruit are available free of charge everywhere. Although the entire facility is located in the basement, it appears surprisingly airy and bright thanks to the 18-meter-long indoor pool, which is supplied with ample daylight through a glass ceiling.

Wellness meets Sports on 3,000 Square Meters

Those who still have energy after the sauna session have access to an approximately 1,000 square meter fitness area with modern equipment. The course offerings range from TRX Training and Power Boxing to Hatha Yoga and Pilates, Aqua Fun, and Healthy Back. The design concept of befine Sports & Spa was developed by Turkish interior designer Asli Arian Dayioglu, who combined 60s design with Berlin themes and oriental elements. The result is an atmosphere that is neither cold nor arbitrary, but genuinely invites you to linger.
