Turkish Bath Women

In Bad Wilsnack, thermal brine bubbles up from a depth of 1,018 meters at 39 degrees Celsius and about 16 percent salt. The facility combines five brine pools ranging from 1.5 to 12 percent, a salt lake with 24 percent brine, eight themed saunas in up to 300-year-old farmhouses, and a 50-meter-long graduation tower, the first graduation facility in Brandenburg.

Located on the second floor of an industrial building on Bülowstraße in Schöneberg, Sultan Hamam offers heated marble benches, steam baths, and oriental tranquility. A Turkish bathhouse run as a family business since 1999.

In a courtyard building on Buelowstrasse, an oriental bath has been running since 1999, reserved for the most part for women. The heated marble stone of the hamam is followed by a kese scrub and oriental soaping, and there is also a steam hamam, a Finnish sauna, loungers in dimmed light and a tea lounge serving freshly brewed Turkish tea.

Hidden behind the Titanic Hotel on Chausseestrasse is the befine Sports & Spa with 3,000 square meters of wellness space: an oriental hammam, Finnish sauna, steam bath, and a light-filled indoor pool.

In the north of Brandenburg lies a facility with 1,055 square meters of bathing landscape, where brine rises from a depth of 1,650 meters at 57.7 degrees Celsius and 15 percent salt content. This includes a 110-square-meter wave pool, a grotto passage with six percent brine, two slides of 98 and 102 meters, and eight saunas in an 1,800-square-meter sauna garden.

Inside the listed hotel building on Budapester Strasse lies a wellness area of 1,000 square metres with a heated indoor pool, a whirlpool, a sauna landscape and several treatment rooms. There are also two fitness areas and a planted sun terrace at the back of the house. Day guests can book the complete area after reserving in advance.

The Landhotel Burg in Spreewald on Ringchaussee features a bathhouse with an indoor pool, a heated outdoor pool with views over the Spreewald meadows, and a graduation tower with Burg brine. For children, there is a petting zoo, adventure minigolf, and a playroom.

The Sultan Hamam on Bülowstraße in Schöneberg has been located on the second floor of a former factory since 1999. Heated marble benches, a steam hamam, a sauna with around 80 degrees Celsius, and tea from the samovar thoroughly warm you up after a cold day. For wet autumn days in Berlin, this means: three hours of warmth for 28 Euros, six days exclusively for women.

On Lake Ruppin, the facility extracts its iodine-rich healing brine from a depth of 1,700 meters, with a 17 percent salt content and a reservoir temperature of 63.4 degrees Celsius. It is Brandenburg's only state-certified healing spring. There is also a floating pool with eight percent brine and a lake sauna with a glass facade and steps into the water.

One of Berlin's most remarkable Turkish baths is located in the Schokoladenfabrik Women's Centre in Kreuzberg: opened in 1988 as Germany's first hammam, today it is a place for oriental bathing culture and living community. Steam, marble warmth, and silence belong together here.

The Aspria Berlin Ku'damm on the western Kurfürstendamm has a 2,000 square meter wellness area with four saunas, a Turkish hammam, a 25-meter pool, and a rooftop terrace. Relaxation is offered in a darkened room with ocean sounds and a brine inhalation area. The Day Spa offers Caribbean rituals with Ligne St Barth products, such as a sea sand scrub.
