If you're serious about breaking a sweat in Berlin Mitte, the old car workshop on Heidestraße is the perfect spot. CFM Crossfit® Mitte combines Rogue-level functional training with an international community that champions an ego-free philosophy. Located right next to the Hamburger Bahnhof, a five-minute walk from the main train station.
CFM Mitte Berlin: Functional Training in Europacity
Founded in 2013 in Mitte’s industrial area, CFM is now located in a converted industrial hall with high ceilings on Heidestraße, including an outdoor training area. Founder Lars, a former national volleyball player, traveled specifically to the USA to train in functional fitness before opening the box. This is evident: the concept is consistently well thought out, and the equipment is high quality. Rogue barbells, squat racks, kettlebells, sandbags, wall balls, Concept 2 rowers, Ski Ergs, and Echo Bikes are available.
The centerpiece is a 40-meter-long turf area with four lanes and original HYROX equipment for sled work, plus a 200-meter outdoor circuit. The box is an official HYROX affiliate. Located directly in Europacity, just a short walk from the main train station and the Hamburger Bahnhof museum, it is also easily accessible for a workout after work or during a business trip.
Small Groups, Great Coaching
The focus is on modern equipment and a wide range of courses, including personal training by experienced coaches. Two training tracks run in parallel: CFM Mitte for barbell work, strength, and conditioning, and HYROX Mitte for race-oriented competition training. Courses are limited to a maximum of nine participants, ensuring close supervision.
Without experience in functional training, participants must first complete the four-part CFM Fundamentals before attending regular courses. This ensures that everyone starts on an equal footing. Coaching is available in German and English, making the box a fixed point of contact for international guests.
