The market at U-Bahn station Fehrbelliner Platz, affectionately known as “Fehrbi”, was founded in 1985 and is thus one of the capital’s most traditional flea markets. Even today, it proudly maintains this character. The well-maintained wooden stalls give the market a cozy atmosphere and special charm. There are quite a few to explore: around 130 stalls offer a colorful mix of artists, craftspeople, professional dealers, and private sellers.

The offerings are accordingly wide-ranging. From second-hand fashion in the so-called “Clothes Alley” to waffle irons and small antiques, there’s something for every taste. So, if you’re looking for a Berlin flea market away from the main tourist routes, this is the place to be. The market is considered less touristy compared to other Berlin flea markets, offering a relaxed atmosphere for browsing at fair prices.

Art Mile on Sundays: More Than Just Flea Market Finds

On Sundays, the Fehrbelliner Platz flea market adds an extra layer. Starting in April, the “Art Mile” takes place every Sunday, where several artists exhibit their works such as paintings, sketches, portraits, and handicrafts. This transforms the classic flea market on this day into a kind of open-air gallery. Higher quality pieces are mainly presented on Sundays, and handmade jewelry as well as other art objects also find their place in a specially designated area of the market.

After browsing, a short break is worthwhile. A bratwurst stand on-site provides refreshments, or you can stroll a few steps further to the neighboring Thai market. The Art & Flea Market Fehrbelliner Platz is open every Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission is free, and the U-Bahn stops right outside.
