On Brunnenstraße at Rosenthaler Platz, s.wert has been translating Berlin architecture into graphics since 2002: prefabricated buildings, the TV Tower, and the World Clock appear on posters, tea towels, and socks. Designs are created in their own studio in Mitte, produced in small editions in Germany. The Berlin Souvenirs category includes around one hundred items.
s.wert on Brunnenstraße: Berlin Architecture as Graphics
The store is located at Brunnenstraße 191 at Rosenthaler Platz and has been offering products since 2002 that emerge from an architectural perspective of the city. Behind the brand is Sandra Siewert, whose studio is in Mitte and who designs her motifs herself. Panel buildings, the TV Tower, the World Clock, the Reichstag, or Hermannplatz are reduced to their lines and repurposed as graphics. Printing and manufacturing take place in small editions in Germany, the posters on recycled paper. The in-house program is complemented by works from other designers from regional production. Clients of the studio include Messe Berlin, the Goethe-Institut, and Freie Universität Berlin, and the products are also available in museum shops and bookstores throughout the city.
Posters, Tea Towels, and Socks as Berlin Souvenirs
The Berlin Souvenirs category includes around one hundred items and covers every luggage format. The Berlin Poster is available in A3 for 16.00 Euros and in larger formats up to A0, the keychain with the Berlin Bear costs 3.90 Euros. In between are tea towels with the World Clock, breakfast boards with the Brandenburg Gate, soaps with district names, a quartet about Berlin districts, postcards, and socks with neighborhood motifs from Friedrichshain to Prenzlauer Berg. Scarves, hoodies, pins, and gift sets are also part of the collection. Those who order online can pick up the goods in the store. The range now extends beyond Berlin to include Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt, and several Swiss cities, but the capital remains the focus. Currently in the program is a wall calendar for 2027 featuring twelve iconic Berlin clocks.
