‘Brunchen und Kunst' im Bonvivant

Schöneberg reveals its most creative side: At Bonvivant Cocktail Bistro, the "Brunch and Art" format combines vegan Michelin-starred cuisine with a private action painting workshop, held every first Sunday of the month. Anyone looking to give something substantial for Valentine's Day will find an experience and a work of art all in one.
Is “Brunch and Art” Berlin’s most meaningful Valentine’s Day gift?
Flowers wilt. Chocolates are eaten. The “Brunch and Art” concept at Bonvivant, however, is a gift with a real wow factor. The format combines two things that at first glance hardly touch each other, but ultimately fit together very well: fine art and upscale breakfast.
The Workshop: Action Painting at Michelin Level
Every first Sunday of the month, at Bonvivant in Berlin-Schöneberg, under the guidance of Jans Echternacht, you can create an action-painting artwork in your own private workshop and then enjoy brunch. A so-called “art machine” is the focus: it is cleverly integrated into a dining table. Step by step, a spin-painting is created, where paint is applied to the canvas, which then rotates at up to 1,400 revolutions per minute. Despite the spectacular nature of the painting, not a single drop of paint leaves the machine, so clothes remain paint-free. The finished work measures 80 cm in diameter. Up to four people can work together on one painting, which makes the experience particularly communal. No prior knowledge is expressly required. The workshop costs 158 Euros; the subsequent brunch at Bonvivant Cocktail Bistro is not included.
Afterwards: Brunch at one of Berlin’s best vegan restaurants
After the workshop, what Bonvivant in Schöneberg is already known for awaits. Bonvivant Cocktail Bistro has completely switched its brunch menu to vegan cuisine, making it one of the few vegan Michelin-starred restaurants worldwide. Brunch is always served from Friday to Sunday. Dishes like fluffy brioche pancake towers with berries and white chocolate ice cream or crispy oyster mushrooms on milk bread with cucumber kimchi and lemon cream land on the table. Guests particularly praise the artfully arranged dishes, innovative flavor combinations, and perfectly matched cocktails.
“Brunch and Art” at Bonvivant is thus one of the few Valentine’s Day gifts you can literally take home with you. As a self-painted picture on the wall, it will long serve as a reminder of that Sunday morning in Schöneberg.
