Behind one of the facades, a courtyard opens up, featuring a Sri Lankan-style house with a green garden and a terrace in front. In summer, herbal teas are served here, and you can sit outdoors without being observed. This very seclusion is why the place works so well after a breakup. You don’t have to explain to anyone why you’ve come.

The house belongs to W. Storz-Vidanage and G. Kaur GbR and has treatment rooms as well as a course area. In addition to treatments, there is meditation, yoga, and Qi Gong, as well as weekend seminars, lectures, and occasional concerts. Those who want to delve deeper can get advice on Ayurvedic nutrition and their own constitution or book a cure at a partner resort in Bentota, Sri Lanka, through the house.

Warm oils, steam bath, and massage beds found only here

On the second floor are the sauna and a relaxation area, as well as a wooden steam bath. The massage beds were specially made for the house. Treatments are performed with warm herbal oils, and all the classics of Ayurvedic massage are available. The Abhyanga, a full-body massage with warm oil, costs 79 Euros. Those who only need a short break can opt for the half-hour shoulder, neck, and back massage for 39 Euros.

Also available are the Shirodhara forehead oil flow, treatments with herbal poultices, a herbal steam bath in combination with a full-body massage, and Ayurvedic cosmetics. If you want to take a whole day, book the Ayurveda wellness day with several consecutive treatments. Payment can be made in cash, by card, or via PayPal, and treatments can also be booked through Urban Sports Club, Wellpass, and ClassPass. Appointments are made in advance; spontaneous walk-ins are not possible here.
