Ausstellung unter dem Holocaust Denkmal mit Stelenfeld

Countless people visit the Field of Stelae near the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin daily. However, few Berliners and tourists know that there is also a free exhibition located beneath the Holocaust Memorial.
“Place of Information” – this is the name of the exhibition directly beneath the Field of Stelae in Berlin-Mitte. Here, visitors can learn about the persecution and murder of European Jews by the Nazis in four themed rooms.
On display are, among other things, diary entries, letters, and last notes from victims; a series of Jewish family fates are retold; the Room of Names is dedicated to short biographies of murdered Jews; and in the Room of Places, historical film and photo material is shown.
The further offerings include free public guided tours as well as educational programs for students, such as workshops and project days.
