Between Speakeasy and Stage Art: Prinzipal Burlesque Bar

Berlin and Burlesque share a long history, dating back to the Weimar era when the city’s nights were characterized by cabaret, daring, and decadent energy. Prinzipal picks up exactly on this. The 1920s-inspired burlesque bar and event location transports its guests back to the golden age of cabaret. The interior takes guests into the world of late Art Deco, complemented by contemporary Berlin aesthetics.

Prinzipal is known for its authentic and intimate burlesque performances. The shows offer an unusually close look at the art of performance. In addition to burlesque, drag shows also take place on the small stage, all framed by expertly crafted cocktails. On Saturdays, the program is “The Art of Burlesque”; on Fridays, the Suitcase Boutique Club format features drag, cabaret, and boylesque with free admission.

Cocktails That Tell a Story

The cocktails are prepared with high-quality spirits and freshly squeezed juices. The bar program focuses on original flavor profiles from homemade syrups, infusions, and bitters. Behind every cocktail is a woman, an artist, a rebel, and a story. The bar team is happy to advise if you find it difficult to choose.

Admission to the burlesque shows is 25 Euros and includes a glass of sparkling wine. The bar opens Fridays and Saturdays from 20:00 and closes at 02:00. Reservations are especially recommended on weekends. Prinzipal can also be fully booked for corporate events, birthdays, and other occasions.
