The Traumtänzer dance school teaches New York Style Salsa in the historic Tempelhof Airport, with four air-conditioned halls and free parking right outside. The Salsa Level 1 course includes six 75-minute sessions for 88 Euros, Bachata is included. For singles, there is Salsa SoloStyle, where you learn Salsa in Berlin completely without a dance partner.

Traumtänzer Dance School: Salsa at Tempelhof Airport

The Traumtänzer dance school has one of its three Berlin locations in the building of the former Tempelhof Airport on Columbiadamm. There are four air-conditioned halls, including a ballroom of 310 square meters, plus a bar and, in summer, a garden with an open-air dance floor. Salsa is taught in New York Style, i.e., linear and with clear figure sequences. From Level 2, Salsa Cubana figures like Enchufla are added; Bachata is already part of the program in the basic course. Parking is free directly in front of the dance school.

Salsa Courses in Levels and SoloStyle

Entry is via Salsa Level 1 with six 75-minute sessions for 88 Euros per person. The school offers advanced levels and the ongoing Salsa Club from 58 Euros per month at its locations on Kurfürstendamm and in Mariendorf. Those who come without a partner can take Salsa SoloStyle and learn steps and body awareness alone. Students and trainees up to 21 years old as well as repeaters receive a 20 percent discount. Entry to the Ballhaus dance party at the airport is 10 Euros.
