The "Summer Rave" on Tempelhofer Feld with 20.000 people partying has gained quite a following. Also this year this classic mega rave will take place again on Tempelhofer Feld at the old Tempelhof airport. The rave however is not the only event to be held on the old airfield.
August 2015 will see the water show Aquanario being held there, with lots of water jets, fire and pyrotechnics and movie clips. This year's Aquanario stands under the motto:"Dit is Berlin"!
In September 2015 the US-music festival Lollapallooza will come to the first time to Europe and play Tempelhofer Feld. The line-up is quite impressive with acts like Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Seeed, Beatsteaks, The Libertines, Sam Smith, Bastille, Parov Stelar, FFS (Franz Ferdinand and Sparks), Tame Impala, Deichkind, Stereophonics, Brand New, Fatboy Slim, Digitalism, Dog Blood (Skrillex and Boys Noize), Martin Garrix, Mighty Oaks, Kygo, Robin Schulz, Belle & Sebastian and Hot Chip hitting the stage.
The Berlin Festival 2015 however will not take place on Tempelhofer Feld but in the Arena Park of Berlin-Treptow.
