Hafenbar

The Hafenbar is still open offering live music but does not offer Karaoke anymore.

Saturdays at the Hafenbar see an awesome Kaptains Karaoke Party with the legendary Joe Hatchiban of Mauerpark’s Bearpitkaraoke. This seafarers’ tavern is the best proof that you can run a really cool place without high-end concepts and planning. The entire interior was salvaged from the former banana freighter Theodor Storm, complete with fishers’ nets, illuminated portholes, ship planks and emptry fish tanks. For seven years the Friday at the Hafenbar has seen a genuine party classic when friends of the German Schlager music gather for the infamous “Voices in Aspic” party. There is no better party atmosphere anywhere in town than here – the bar is jam-packed full with people singing, dancing and plainly having fun.
