The CoooL Music Bar is located on Ansbacher Straße in Schöneberg, a short distance from Wittenbergplatz. It distinguishes itself from most bars in the area by a decision that sounds small but shapes the entire evening: the music doesn’t come from a prepared playlist, but from the guests themselves. If you have a request, you tell the bar, and the song plays. This leads to evenings that don’t repeat themselves and to conversations between tables that wouldn’t have otherwise occurred. On some days, a DJ takes over later, and the area in front of the bar becomes a dance floor.

From Coffee to Aperitivo and Backgammon

During the day, the establishment operates as a café, serving coffee well into the evening. In the early evening, the aperitivo phase begins, and with it, Happy Hour, during which Aperol Spritz, Hugo, Gin Tonic, Cuba Libre, Caipirinha, and Mojito are served at the same price. Board games are available on the tables: Jenga, chess, and backgammon for quieter rounds, UNO and Rummy for larger groups. Reservations can be made by message, which is particularly useful on weekends for an establishment of this size. Beer remains one of the cheapest options on the menu throughout the evening.
