Filmpark Babelsberg

Everything related to film is staged here: sets, props, costumes, and technical equipment from yesterday and today. There are approximately twenty attractions in the theme park, as well as four shows. In the various shows, stuntmen, pyrotechnicians, and animal trainers demonstrate their skills. And in TV Studio 1, visitors can stand in the spotlight themselves, for example, as a weather fairy or light double. One of the highlights at Filmpark Babelsberg is ”The Three Musketeers – The Making-Of Show,” an interactive show about the creation of the cinema highlight. Children’s hearts beat faster at the witch’s house from “Hansel and Gretel,” on the jungle playground, or during a boat trip in Janosch’s dreamland Panama! Visitors can look behind the scenes and discover how the Sandman comes to life on television, how make-up artists work, or how stunts function.

But TV series like GZSZ are also filmed on the 7,000 square meter outdoor set. Furthermore, numerous events take place on the film grounds throughout the year.

For a certain thrill, there’s the 4D action cinema and the Dome of Babelsberg, where up to 24 people can feel like they’re participating live in a computer game. With a laser sight, you traverse the eerie 3D world and become part of the game.
