Since 1962, Francucci on Kurfürstendamm in Charlottenburg has represented what true Italian cuisine is all about: homemade pasta from imported durum wheat semolina, Bistecca Fiorentina from Chianina beef, and an ambiance that needs no trends. Here, you sit as if you'd never left.

Francucci – Ristorante Dal 1962: An Institution on Ku’damm

Francucci is a family-run restaurant that has been located directly on Kurfürstendamm since 1962. Instead of trendy fusion ideas, it offers classic Italian cuisine that has proven itself for decades. White tablecloths, dark wood, and the gentle clinking of wine glasses set the tone. In addition, there is an extensive wine list at fair prices and a large summer terrace facing Kurfürstendamm. Those with an appetite for something special will always find extraordinary appetizer variations, such as mango instead of the eternal honeydew melon with prosciutto. The restaurant has no closing day on any day of the week.

Homemade Pasta and Bistecca Fiorentina

The heart of Francucci is its own pasta production. Tagliolini, Tagliatelle, and Pappardelle are made from specially imported durum wheat semolina directly in the restaurant and stored at 6 to 8 degrees Celsius. Guests can already see the fresh pasta in its own display case in the entrance area. In addition, Rigatoni, Fusilli, and the Abruzzese Spaghetti alla chitarra are made in-house. Those who prefer meat will also find their happiness: A highlight is the Bistecca Fiorentina, a T-bone steak from Chianina beef, served on the bone. Such continuity and quality over decades have become rare on Kurfürstendamm.
