Cafe am Engelbecken

The Café am Engelbecken is a sunny place at any time of the year. In summer it’s great to enjoy a refreshing cold beer there or to dig on a warm or cold snack from their menu card.

The evening on the terrace brings a lovely view of the illuminated St. Michael’s Church with a cocktail in your hand. On clear nights you can see the reflection of the moon in the water of Luisenstädter Kanal. Don’t forget to bring your ice skates in winter, because once the channel is frozen, it’s ice skating season here.

A small drawback however: Their staff is not the fastest in serving, so it’s best to bring some time with you and soak in the relaxing atmosphere.
