At 136, products from Peru and Italy are fused in a refined and surprising cuisine. Carefully selected Italian wines are served in a relaxed atmosphere, making it the perfect place for anyone who wants to avoid the Italian cliché.

Matias Diaz, originally from Peru, with an Italian uncle, found his way to cooking through various paths, learning and working in upscale gastronomy. Eventually, he took the helm at Sagrantino136, located near Oranienburgertor in Mitte, with his refined, surprising cuisine that is based on strong flavors yet remains classic.
Carefully selected wines from Italy are recommended in a relaxed atmosphere. For the ingredients, meticulously chosen products are regularly imported from Italy and Peru.

The open kitchen invites guests to admire the team at work. The various courses are served not only by the service staff but also by the chefs themselves. This provides not only first-hand information but also a rare direct contact with the restaurant’s chefs. The ambiance is cosmopolitan and Mediterranean, and the cuisine reflects the zest for life of two continents. Matias and his crew transform this feeling into excellent three to seven-course menus, including amuse-bouche and petit four, as well as à la carte dishes, all of fine-dining quality, changing every two months. The menu prices are more than fair, especially for the chic Mitte district – another reason to experience it for yourself.
