Spirit Yoga Charlottenburg

In the backyard of a former post office building between Savignyplatz and the University of the Arts, Spirit Yoga teaches its own Power Vinyasa-inspired style in levels. Additionally, they offer Yin Yoga, Back Yoga, and a Pre- and Postnatal program.

Spirit Yoga Charlottenburg: Patricia Thielemann’s Original Studio

Patricia Thielemann founded Spirit Yoga in Berlin in 2004 after several years in Los Angeles. The Charlottenburg studio is located in the quiet backyard of a former post office building on Goethestraße, between the University of the Arts and Savignyplatz. The practice room is large and bright, mats and props are provided free of charge, and there are changing rooms with showers, lockers, and tea.

The studio teaches its own Spirit Yoga style, which is based on Power Vinyasa Flow. Classes follow a level system from Level 1 to Master Class, with a Basics series for beginners. Classes are precisely guided and are held in German.

From Back Yoga to Pre- and Postnatal Yoga

In addition to the level classes, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Back Yoga, Soft Flow, and Yoga with Sound are on the schedule. Patricia Thielemann herself developed the Pre- and Postnatal program. The Spirit Yoga Academy trains yoga teachers and offers workshops and retreats. Prices for the studio are in the higher range: a single class costs 28 Euros, the 3-class intro card is 59 Euros, and the 10-class card is 220 Euros.
