Not Too Sweet II: Curated Vintage on Oranienstraße

Not Too Sweet’s second store is located on Oranienstraße and clearly distinguishes itself from the city’s large kilo stores. What hangs on the racks here is carefully selected, not just delivered: Second-hand from the nineties and early two thousands, plus sportswear and designer pieces, all sorted by condition and cut rather than stacked by size.

The assortment is complemented by works from Berlin upcycling labels, which sew new unique pieces from old fabrics. This means that next to the classic vintage rack, there is a selection that is one of a kind. Sorting is intentionally gender-neutral, with items hanging by category rather than in women’s and men’s departments.

What Makes a Visit to Not Too Sweet II Special

The space is manageable, and that’s by design. Anyone who brings an hour of time will have seen the entire stock without having to rummage through boxes. The team offers advice if you want it and leaves you in peace if you prefer to browse alone.

Both stores regularly host evenings for the neighborhood, from swap nights to game nights. Oranienstraße 196 is just a few steps from Oranienplatz, making it easy to combine a visit with a stroll through the street.
