Einar & Bert is not only a beautifully selected bookstore in Prenzlauer Berg but also an event venue and café. You can thus enjoy reading a book with a good coffee. The book selection focuses on theater but includes much more than that. In addition to books on art and music, the full range of a full-service bookstore is offered. The assortment also includes fiction, children’s and young adult books, typographically interesting works, and graphic novels. DVDs and CDs also occupy a large space.

The Einar & Bert bookstore is particularly special due to its dedicated and ambitious event program. At least once a week, classical and scenic readings take place, book premieres are presented, or small concerts are held. A bar is also operated during the events. Reservations are requested in advance for the events.
