For this list, I looked for shops where you can find Christmas decorations and tree ornaments away from mass-produced goods. Fine candles, beautiful porcelain and traditional Erzgebirge craftsmanship were just as important to me as modern, playful pieces. I paid attention to quality, selection and the little details that create a festive mood in your own four walls.
Opened in 1907, KaDeWe on Tauentzienstraße now spans over 60,000 square meters, attracting more than 50,000 people daily, and up to 100,000 during the Christmas season.
