Heiraten in der Alten Försterei

Bridal couples can have a sporty wedding in a unique atmosphere at the ‘Stadion An der Alten Försterei’ – the home stadium of 1. FC Union Berlin – in Berlin-Köpenick. Where normally the footballers run across the hallowed turf and the stadium anthem echoes, wedding couples can say ‘I do’ at the edge of the pitch during a free ceremony. The Alte Försterei offers a particularly extraordinary backdrop for all couples who envision something other than run-of-the-mill for their wedding celebration.

The rooms in the Alte Försterei can be individually designed, and catering comes from the in-house kitchen. Whether it’s a menu or buffet, wedding cake or midnight snack – each bridal couple is accompanied and looked after by an experienced event team, and all wishes can be realized. This also includes, among other things, invitation cards in a stadium look, live music, a DJ, or a photo booth.

But despite the sporty setting, wedding couples at the Alte Försterei do not have to forgo romance. Fireworks, a carriage, and even white doves are just as possible as the wedding dance in the middle of the pitch.

Currently, only free ceremonies are possible at the Alte Försterei. Civil ceremonies, for example, are possible nearby in the historic Köpenick City Hall.
