The home port is located in Marina Prinzenhof in Saatwinkel, on the northern edge of Berlin between Tegeler See and Havel. The Fangrot family has operated their boat rental service there since 1964, and parking is available directly at the marina. Those who start from here first cruise across Tegeler See and then reach the Havel. A second mooring is located at Caprivibrücke in Charlottenburg, about a five-minute walk from the Charlottenburg registry office. From there, tours lead through the city center. The core fleet consists of two boats: the saloon yacht Heidelberg for up to 30 people and the smaller motor yacht Dachs for up to twelve people. Both can be rented completely for weddings and celebrations.

The Saloon Yacht Heidelberg: Built in 1924, Electric Today

The Heidelberg was built in 1924 at the Claus Engelbrecht yacht shipyard in Köpenick, constructed as a flush-decker from riveted Siemens steel with wooden superstructures. The client was mill owner Kampffmeyer. For a time, the ship was named Robinson; in 1995, the Fangrot family bought it and restored its original name. With a length of 17.50 meters and a width of 3.70 meters, it offers a heated saloon, a fore and aft deck, and a microphone system. Since its renovation in 2021, an electric motor powers the ship, with a cruising speed of approximately eleven kilometers per hour. For weddings, the Heidelberg travels, according to the operator, in about an hour to Hennigsdorf harbor, where the local registry office comes on board. The basic price for three hours from the home port is 1,000 Euros, each additional hour costs 250 Euros.
