Britz Palace: Marry in the Manor House from 1706

The manor house on Alt-Britz was built in 1706 on the foundations of a medieval timber-framed house and served as a residence for Prussian court officials and state ministers in the 18th century. Ewald Friedrich Count von Hertzberg developed the estate into a model farm at that time. The house received its current appearance through a renovation in the Neo-Renaissance style; since 1971, the ensemble has been a protected monument, and between 1985 and 1988, the Neukölln district restored it.

The grounds include a 1.8-hectare palace park, a historic manor farm with animal husbandry, and the Museum of Residential Culture with its permanent exhibition on the Gründerzeit era. Admission costs 3 Euros, reduced 2 Euros, children up to twelve years old enter for free. For wedding photos, the park is the real highlight: between old trees and the manor farm, no additional backdrop is needed.

The Ox Stable and the All-Inclusive Package

Celebrations take place in the Ox Stable, which is 220 square meters and designed for up to 100 guests. It is not rented individually, but as part of a package: 165 Euros per person for 35 guests or more, for six hours, including sound system, staff, table decoration, Prosecco reception, wedding buffet, beverage package, and an overnight stay with breakfast for the wedding couple. An extension costs 10 Euros per person per hour, an additional package with coffee and cake or finger food costs 29 Euros per person.

For the arrival, an 1880 Viennese Landau can be booked as a wedding carriage, 250 Euros for up to one hour of travel. The palace offers five rooms: three standard rooms of 20 square meters with a view of the palace pond, and two apartments of 35 square meters with a roof terrace, starting from 69 Euros per night. Free ceremonies take place on the premises, civil ceremonies are held at the Neukölln Registry Office on Blaschkoallee, and church weddings in the 14th-century Britz Village Church, which can accommodate up to 250 guests.
