Landhaus Hubertus: get married on the edge of the Frohnau forest

In the very north of Berlin, where Frohnau merges into the forest, Landhaus Hubertus is located at the terminal stop of bus line 125. The Jonas family’s business is set up for large celebrations: its centerpiece is a baroque ballroom spanning 140 square meters, with parquet flooring, tall French windows, and a dance floor that doesn’t feel too small even with 120 guests. A stage and a screen are included, a grand piano is available in the house, and a house pianist can be booked for the celebration.

From the hall, a door leads directly to the covered terrace with 90 seats, which remains usable even in the rain. Behind it begins the fenced garden with a large lawn, which the house calls the Garden of Happiness. There, the wedding altar stands under a pavilion, in front of which lies a red carpet with a decorated rose arch. For families with children, the garden offers a trampoline, a swing, and a climbing castle.

What makes Landhaus Hubertus a unique wedding venue

Celebrations are usually held via an all-inclusive arrangement, starting at 135 Euros per person. This includes a hot and cold buffet or a menu with served soup, a six-hour beverage package, the festively set hall with staff, and the exclusive use of the terrace and garden. Those who wish to add long drinks pay an additional 22.50 Euros per person. The house offers buffets for 20 full-paying guests or more, and in the off-season from January to March, there is a discount on room rental costs.

A civil wedding ceremony in the garden is no longer possible since May 31, 2024, due to changes in responsibilities within the district office. Free wedding ceremonies at the wedding altar or on the covered terrace still take place. Convenient for guests: the house is barrier-free, there are ample parking spaces, and those who wish to stay overnight can find accommodation at the Hotel am Lunik Park, which is within walking distance. Payments are accepted in cash, by EC card, or credit card; American Express is not accepted by the house.
