Capitol Yard Golf Lounge: Marry in the Spree Warehouse at Osthafen

The warehouse at Osthafen dates back to 1913 and was designed by Berlin city architect Friedrich Krause. Brick facade, hip roof, renovated in 2000 and 2001: The heritage-protected building stands directly on the Spree, opposite the Oberbaumbrücke. The Capitol Yard Golf Lounge occupies its own premises within it, including a Spree terrace with lounge furniture and sunshades, where guests are welcomed directly by the water.

For weddings, the operator expects up to 150 guests. The pure room capacities are higher: 270 people for a standing reception, 210 at banquet tables, 150 for a gala dinner, 200 in theater seating, and another 200 seats on the terrace. Those with a larger party can use the sister rooms in the same building, which together can accommodate up to 800 people.

Golf Tee-off over the Spree and In-House Kitchen

The lounge’s unique selling point is on the terrace: From there, golf balls can be hit into the illuminated Spree, and indoors, a golf simulator complements the offering. For a wedding party, this is an activity that no one else in Berlin offers, and it also works for guests who have never held a club before.

Catering is exclusively provided by the in-house kitchen; an external caterer is not permitted. The operator only provides prices upon request. A civil wedding ceremony is not possible here, as the building is not an official wedding venue; however, a free ceremony on the Spree terrace is possible. Arriving guests can get there easily: Warschauer Straße station with S-Bahn, U-Bahn, and Tram M10 is less than 500 meters away, and the Oberbaumbrücke bus stop is directly at the intersection. Parking is available in front of the building.
