The Silverwings in the Tempelhof airport building is one of the oldest still operated clubs in Berlin and is proud of its history.

During the time of the Berlin Airlift and the Candy Bombers, the Silverwings was an Officers Club, where even Johnny Cash personally played live at that time! American G.I.s brought their lifestyle from home to Berlin and to the Silverwings.

In 1998, the club has been reopened. Even today, the Silverwings offers a unique atmosphere for rock, independent, punk and rock’n’roll parties. On two floors one can dance to DJs or attend live concerts.

At a large bar in the middle of the room, a little break from rocking can be made. Legendary: the popsicle party at the Silverwings, which brings the summer feeling of the 50s, 60s and 70s back to Berlin.
