Currently they are giving the German version of the award-winning ABBA Musical “Mamma Mia!” at Stage Theater des Westens.
The traditional Theater des Westens is not only impressive due to its programme, also its ambiance is enticing. The building was constructed in the late 1800s and saw stars like Josephine Baker and Marlene Dietrich perform in the “Roaring 20s”. The venue has carefully conserved its splendour to the present date: Behind the impressive facade, you will find a carefully and painstakingly remodeled antehall – 10 million euros were spent on the project in 2003. The antehall features among others giant chandeliers and leads to the red stage hall.
