Irish Pub in Berlin since 2007

Since 2007, The Double Inn has been a fixture in Oberschöneweide, making it one of the oldest Irish Pubs in Berlin. The pub is somewhat hidden behind the cinema in the Spreehöfe, near the intersection of Wilhelminenhofstraße and Edisonstraße. Those familiar with the area know: The Reinbeckhallen with its collection for contemporary art are also not far, and the historic Funkhaus Nalepastraße, once the seat of GDR broadcasting, is also nearby. The premises are divided into a winter garden, where concerts also take place, and the main room with a billiard corner, darts, and a whiskey area with leather armchairs in front of a fireplace. Whisky tastings, pool billiards, darts, foosball, and regular live music as well as quiz nights ensure lively evenings in a typical pub atmosphere.

Beer, Whisky and Snacks at The Double Inn

When it comes to drinks, no one can easily outdo this Irish Pub in Berlin. Of course, Guinness and Kilkenny are on the menu, but also Hop House 13 and Störtebeker, as well as creations like the „Poor Man’s Black Velvet” made from Guinness and cider. The whisky selection is particularly impressive: Over 130 different Irish, Scottish, and international whiskys are available, including a remarkable selection of Japanese varieties. If you come hungry, you should know this: The Double Inn primarily sees itself as a place to sit, celebrate, and drink. Therefore, the menu includes toast, chips, and pretzels. However, buffets can be booked for private parties. Additionally, the Guinness Lounge in the basement offers a separate room with its own bar for up to 25 people.
