NUKE CLUB
The closure of the long-established K17 in Friedrichshain was a shock for many regulars. The NUKE CLUB has taken over.
The location and a part of the K17 team were taken over, the club was, so to speak, reloaded under the name NUKE CLUB in Friedrichshain. Opened in June 2016, the NUKE CLUB is intended to remain a home for rock and gothic fans, but also to open up to new styles and genres.
Some popular event formats of the K17 are also to be preserved. The complete summer program with new concerts from September will be communicated via Facebook in the future.
The K17 could look back on around 20 years of club history! It began as a small Berlin underground club behind Frankfurter Tor. After the turn of the millennium, it moved to Pettenkoferstraße. With the move, the venue had, so to speak, grown up and, with 6 floors, 6 bars, and three concert stages, was one of the largest clubs for the rock – and underground scene in Germany. How the club will continue to develop, the future will show.
