Weinbergsweg leads from Rosenthaler Platz towards Volkspark am Weinberg and is one of the densest nightlife stretches in Mitte over these few hundred meters. At house number 25 is the 100 Gramm Bar, whose name refers to the Eastern European custom of measuring vodka not in milliliters, but in grams. The Rosenthaler Platz subway station is a one-minute walk away, and tram lines M1 and M8 stop directly in front. The same family owns Café Datscha, Restaurant Pasternak, and Datscha Bistro, so the style is no coincidence.

Inside, the bar is smaller than its reputation suggests, relying on subdued lighting, dark surfaces, and a bottle shelf that highlights the house’s specialty: around 25 vodka varieties, eleven of which are homemade infusions. As the evening progresses, DJs take over, and the crowd gathers closer between the bar and upholstered benches. Reservations can be made online, which is recommended on weekends. Signature Martinis and the Lounge Next Door

The 100 Gramm Bar menu revolves around four signature martinis, including a Matcha Martini and a Parmesan Espresso Martini, each costing 14 euros. During Martini Hour, the price for these same drinks drops to 8 euros. Draft beer is on the menu for 7 euros for 0.4 liters, plus aperitifs, a manageable wine selection, and packages for multiple drinks. Payment can be made with Visa and Mastercard.

Since 2024, the 100 Gramm Bar Lounge has been located right next door, spanning over 150 square meters and two floors, and in addition to the bar area, it includes three other rooms with velvet chairs, brick walls, and leather armchairs. More elaborately staged drinks are on the menu there, such as the Avalon’s Jasmine Mist with jasmine tea-infused Calvados, along with formats like the Secret Drink Night. Groups of up to 200 people can be accommodated. Together, both make the 100 Gramm Bar one of the liveliest trendy bars in Mitte. The venue has also been operating the 100 Gramm Lounge next door for some time, reportedly about 130 meters away, where its own formats like Queens of the Night, Morning Club, and Daiquiri Night take place.
