In Berlin-Mitte you will find a unique attraction in Germany: Right next to the Berlin Dungeon, the Angiyok Icebar Berlin opened in 2018. Germany’s first ice bar offers cool drinks and handmade ice sculptures at -10 degrees Celsius room temperature. An atmospheric LED lighting concept immerses the ice works of art of the ice bar in different colours. You can marvel at Berlin sights such as the Brandenburg Gate made of ice or sit on a sleigh carved of ice, covered with a warming fur for a souvenir photo. Whenever the winter in Berlin is more slushy or rainy, Angiyok provides for an arctic feel all year round and visitors can immerse themselves in the winter world regardless of the weather.
Access to the ice bar is possible via the lounge and bar area of the Angiyok Icebar, where normal room temperatures prevail. At a counter, visitors are given warming ponchos and gloves for their stay in the ice world. Closed shoes are necessary for the visit. If you can’t stand the Arctic cold for long, you can also sit comfortably in the lounge area before or after entering the ice bar. Only a small selection of ready-mixed cocktails is offered at the ice bar within the ice world. However, this has the background that most liquids cannot be stored in glass bottles due to the cold in the room. As a highlight, the drinks are served in cool glasses made of ice. The bar in the lounge area provides more variety on the drinks menu and offers guests a large selection of unusual and classic cocktail creations, shakes, soft drinks as well as beer and sparkling wine.
The ice bar can also be rented for company events or private events such as birthday parties. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired: A large video wall consisting of 15 screens and a sound system provide for the multimedia sound. No matter whether DJ or video presentation – the systems for it are present.
