As a pioneer and market leader in the field of bungalow boats, BunBo offers a fleet of over 150 houseboats for rent at five locations. The light, agile BunBos of the 1000 series are particularly beginner-friendly, while the larger 990 and 1160 models impress with rustic charm and a fireplace. Those who prefer something even more modern will also find what they’re looking for: The BunBo 1061E is the first electrically powered model in the fleet, and the newer BunBo 1200E also features a bow thruster and a dishwasher on board. The latest model goes a step further: The BunBo 1170 combines the comfort of the 1200E with the atmosphere of a classic log cabin, while the large glass front allows panoramic views of the water and a stern door provides direct access to the outdoor deck. Furthermore, a part of the fleet is barrier-free.

The spacious, well-equipped wooden bungalows with an eat-in kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, and large terrace can be operated in most areas without a boat license after a short briefing and obtaining a charter certificate. From bed linen to stand-up paddling boards, dinghies, and bicycles, everything is provided on board. Those starting in Zernsdorf get a beginner-friendly area right away: The waters there are well suited for first-time houseboat drivers, as the lakes are manageable and the canals sufficiently wide. One thing to plan early, however: If you want to sail in the high season, it’s best to book early, as houseboat holidays are so popular that available boats become scarce. For the 2026 season, the fleet continues to grow: A total of 10 new BungalowBoats will be added with the BunBo 1170.
