What’s on the table for Turkish breakfast in Berlin

Meyman Gourmet is not a place for quick croissants. Instead, it offers Turkish breakfast in Berlin as it should be: opulent, well-seasoned, and prepared with love. The in-house breakfast platter comes with beef pastrami (Pastirma), salmon with horseradish, Mediterranean paste, three types of cheese, olives, butter, jam, a boiled egg, salad, and a fruit bowl. A sesame ring or a bread roll is also served. Those who prefer breakfast from the pan can opt for scrambled eggs with Pastirma or the farmer’s breakfast with mushrooms, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, fried potatoes, and eggplant. Menemen, avocado toast with fried egg, as well as waffles and desserts are also on the menu. Freshly squeezed juices, smoothies, or Turkish tea complement the meal. Portions are generous, with an average price of around 11 Euros per dish.

Meyman Gourmet: A Fixture on Tempelhofer Damm

Meyman Gourmet has been in Alt-Tempelhof for a good ten years, right on the corner of Friedrich-Wilhelm-Straße. After extensive renovations, the café has taken on its current appearance. It is open daily from 9 AM to 10 PM, and reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. Those familiar with the area know that Tempelhofer Damm is more culinarily diverse than it might seem at first glance. Nearby is Trattoria Lauretta with its own pasta factory, and the Italian restaurant Bruno has also been an institution in the neighborhood for decades. Meyman Gourmet maintains its own very high standards in this neighborhood: Turkish breakfast in Berlin at a level that doesn’t need to hide.
