Anna Babik runs the soup bar at Krausnickstraße 11, a few steps behind Monbijoupark. The special feature of the concept is the choice: guests assemble their own bowl from a broth and various ingredients, or choose from the week’s freshly cooked soups and stews. The underlying philosophy is clearly formulated: no instant products, with few exceptions no additives, seasonal vegetables, and broths prepared in-house. Cooking is done gently to preserve as many nutrients as possible.

From poultry broth to Pelmeni and Bliny

The weekly menu changes completely. The creamy potato soup costs 7.00 Euro, the strong poultry broth 7.50 Euro, the spinach cream soup 8.00 Euro; the oriental lentil stew, the Massaman curry, and the Chili con Carne are 9.00 Euro each. In addition to the soups, the Eastern European influence is clearly visible: homemade Bliny for 9.00 Euro, Varenyky for 10.00 Euro, and Pelmeni with beef or turkey for 12.00 Euro. Salads are available between 10.00 and 12.00 Euro, along with homemade desserts, coffee, and tea. Vegan and vegetarian dishes are consistently marked on the menu, and everything can also be taken away.
