The Pianocafé am Lietzensee is located on Neue Kantstraße at the edge of Lietzenseepark, a long green strip that surrounds the lake. In front of the building is a terrace with a view into the trees, even though City West begins just a few streets away. The S-Bahn station Messe Nord/ICC is a few meters away; by car, the route is via the A100 and the Kaiserdamm-Süd exit. The establishment is run by Alla Werner. The name says it all: under the motto “A cup of music,” there is live piano music with coffee and cake, and recently the café even launched its own cheesecake competition.

Breakfast Menu from Small Plate to Lietzensee Breakfast

The menu features about a dozen breakfast options. The small breakfast with two rolls, butter, salami, poultry sausage, Gouda, and homemade jam costs 7.90 Euros; the Lietzensee breakfast, as the largest compilation, costs 14.50 Euros. In between, there is a small cheese breakfast, a sweet breakfast, the “Kleine Franzose” (Little Frenchman) with croissant and café au lait, a cheese, salmon, and avocado breakfast, as well as porridge, muesli, fruit salad, and a protein breakfast. Additionally, there are egg dishes like the Farmer’s Breakfast for 11.50 Euros and various scrambled egg options, as well as open-faced toasts. All coffee beverages are also available decaffeinated or with malt coffee; soy and lactose-free milk cost a small surcharge. Cakes and tortes come from their own patisserie.
