New and creative cuisine with wild variations is nothing new to Berlin; the restaurant Kochu Karu in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg is one of the best examples. Spanish head chef José Miranda Morillo and Berlin based soprano singer Bin Lee-Zauner came up with the idea to create an exciting symbiosis of Spanish tapas and Korean delicacies. Those little bites (tapas or banchan) are very well known in both Korea and in Spain, add a little touch of fusion food and you got the very own Kochu Karu style.

You’ll find Korean seaweed salad as well as selected Spanish cheese on the menu for quite a fair price.

With its unique concept and delicious food the restaurant was just awarded with the Bib Gourmand by Guide Michelin.
