The water playground on the Blütenachse in Britzer Garten is built as a rock landscape: Water emerges from a mountain spring and flows through streams, whose course children can redirect themselves at weirs. Since 2024, a 14.5-meter-wide water labyrinth consisting of five circles with floor-level nozzles and push-button controls has been added.

Beuster Bar sits at the corner of Weserstraße and Weichselstraße in Neukölln, in a building that belonged to a transport company in 1905 and gave the bar its name. A ceiling painting by Gabriela Jolowicz hangs above the counter, and the wine list is built almost entirely around natural wine. As a trendy bar in Kreuzkölln, it is the go-to spot for oysters.

The Estrel Showtheater in Neukölln belongs to Germany's largest hotel and has been hosting the impersonator revue Stars in Concert since 1997, which is now in its 29th season. With 1,120 square meters, it accommodates up to 1,000 guests, includes three bars, and features a summer garden by the canal and a private boat dock right outside.

The Rixdorfer Höhe in Hasenheide is a rubble mountain made from approximately 700,000 cubic meters of debris, piled up in 1951, 68 meters high and 22 meters above the surrounding terrain. The path leads spirally upwards, the descent requires attention, and at the foot of the mountain lies one of Berlin's largest animal enclosures.

In a Neukölln studio, unique handmade items are created from old ties, used shirts, and recycled moving blankets. Each piece exists only once, nothing is reproduced. Located directly at Hermannstraße U- and S-Bahn station, this pub describes itself as an institution for over 25 years. It operates without closing hours, accepts cash payments only, has a smoking area, free Wi-Fi, and offers the option to rent the space for private parties. Sahara Imbiss in Schillerkiez serves Sudanese cuisine: Mustafa opened his first shop in 2009 while studying, bringing the flavors of Khartoum with him. Today, there are eleven locations in Berlin. The hallmark is the homemade peanut sauce served with falafel, along with foul and okra. Falafel in Berlin tastes different here than anywhere else.

On Flughafenstraße in Neukölln, there is a dark rock bar with red velvet, spotlights, and a single stage. There are no private booths, but there is a microphone and an audience that always sings along. Additionally, there is an outdoor area and the option to host private parties. The pub on Sonnenallee belongs to a small Neukölln family of three Bierbaum venues and runs without a closing hour. Inside there is a jukebox, a pool table, an electronic dartboard and slot machines, plus a smoking corner, Prosecco for four euros and phone charging for one euro per half hour. Schultheiss is served straight from the keg.

With around 95,000 square meters, Gropius Passagen is Berlin's largest shopping center, located in Gropiusstadt in southern Neukölln. Over 150 stores are spread across four levels, including Primark over three floors, Kaufland, MediaMarkt, and Decathlon. The food court and a multiplex cinema are on the first floor.

On the top parking deck of the Neukölln Arcaden on Karl-Marx-Straße, you'll find Klunkerkranich, one of the city's most famous rooftop gardens. The view over the rooftops of Neukölln to the TV Tower is unobstructed. You go up by elevator to parking deck 5 and then via the spiral ramp. Admission ranges from 3 to 9 Euros, depending on the program.

With 1,125 rooms and around 2,250 beds, the Estrel Berlin on Sonnenallee in Neukölln is Germany's largest hotel. Right next to it, the 176-meter-high Estrel Tower, with 45 floors and Berlin's tallest building, has stood since 2026. Its soft opening is scheduled for December 1, 2026, with the Sky Bar and Sky Restaurant on the 43rd floor to follow in 2027.
