Deep beneath the Delphi Filmpalast on Kantstraße in Charlottenburg lies one of Berlin's oldest and most renowned jazz clubs. Since 1975, Quasimodo has been an institution in the live music scene, entertaining its basement audience with jazz, soul, funk, and much more.

A staple of Berlin's club culture since 2015, now newly rooted in Neukölln: Sound Metaphors at Weichselstraße 22 is the record store DJs from all over the world seek out for the most curated selection of second-hand vinyl for techno, house, disco, and dub.

In the Scheunenviertel, between Hackescher Markt and Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, LUZII brings German tavern and country cuisine into the present: artisanal, seasonal, without nostalgic kitsch. Comfort food with real ambition, right in Berlin-Mitte.

Soultrade Recordstore in Neukölln is Berlin's go-to spot for black music on vinyl: Soul, Funk, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Afrobeats, expertly curated by people who truly understand their craft. If you're looking for rare originals, limited reissues, or quality used records, Sanderstraße is the right place.

In Berlin-Mitte, just around the corner from Alexanderplatz, lies one of the few locations that doesn't just metaphorically roll out the red carpet. The Grand combines a club, bar, and upscale event spaces across approximately 1,000 square meters – and has been attracting celebrities from sports, TV, and music for years.

The "Privatclub" (private club) in Berlin-Kreuzberg stands for handpicked, up-and-coming bands away from the trends. Musically everything is represented from the eighties over Hip Hop, Soul, Funk up to honest Rock'n'Roll.

Located in Prenzlauer Berg, near Helmholtzplatz, is one of Berlin's oldest live music pubs: Speiches Rock and Blues Kneipe has been featuring a small stage with blues, rock, jazz, and soul since 1992. Admission is always free.

Bar Bobu in Berlin-Friedrichshain is a cozy meeting point for all who love blues, jazz, and soul.
