Children's Show

The Alice - Museum for Children is located in the FEZ in Wuhlheide and is currently showing Green Planet Berlin across 450 square meters with six interactive stations, from the kitchen of the future to the sound cave. Around 250 children co-developed the concept in ten workshops. Among Berlin's children's museums, it is the institution that has been lending its exhibitions to other museums since 2002.

On 31 October 2026 the FEZ-Berlin in Oberschöneweide becomes the hub for Halloween in Berlin for children aged seven and up: the GeisterGala brings a stage programme, a costume ball, a night ride on the narrow-gauge railway and a surprise menu eaten in complete darkness.

Child-friendly instead of terrifying: on 31 October 2026 the Filmpark Babelsberg in Potsdam shows at Kids Halloween how Halloween works for children, with hands-on spooky mazes, an interactive stage show and face painting.

Since 1884, Zauberkönig has been selling magic, joke, and puzzle items, making it Berlin's oldest specialty store of its kind. In Neukölln's Schillerkiez, you'll find magic sets and card tricks, as well as courses and shows in its own magic cabinet.

During the winter holiday workshops at Berlin's children's circus CABUWAZI, kids on holiday can really let off steam.

Kreuzberg's most famous creative and educational center for children and young people opens its doors free of charge for everyone. Across five floors, right next to Viktoriapark, children can craft, dance, build, and experiment – here, it's not the parents' wallet that counts, but the child's talent.

The Yellow Villa is a creative and educational center for children and young people in Berlin-Neukölln. During the winter holidays, a free and diverse holiday program with workshops on many different topics is offered.

In Monbijoupark, wooden huts stand directly on the Spree throughout the winter, hosting the Märchenhütte (Fairy Tale Hut): fairy tales for children and families during the day, and versions explicitly for adults in the evening. Each ticket is valid for two consecutive plays. Among Berlin's winter leisure activities, this is the one with a fire at the door and mulled wine in hand.

On Schlangenbader Straße in Wilmersdorf, a child-friendly kitchen and an indoor playground are under one roof. Children first decorate their chef's hat, then cook a two or three-course menu from their own menu card under guidance, and play next door in between. In the end, each child receives a cooking diploma and a recipe book.

Wunderland on Düsseldorfer Straße is a café with an attached indoor play area, and the play area is the main attraction. It features climbing structures, slides, and a dedicated section for the little ones across multiple levels.

Café Kiezkind at Helmholtzplatz has a heated indoor sandpit, making a visit possible even in November. Additionally, there's a large selection of toys and a book corner indoors.
