KALAA Yoga Berlin

Hidden in the backyard of an old Berlin building on Helmholtzplatz in Prenzlauer Berg, KALAA Yoga Berlin has been offering Yoga Alliance level yoga trainings since 2011: well-founded, holistic, and founded by professional dancers.
KALAA Yoga Berlin: Yoga Training with Depth and Method
KALAA Yoga Berlin is a Yoga Alliance certified school and training center for 200-hour and 300-hour teacher trainings. Founders Stefanie Berndt and Manuela Berndt came to yoga during their careers as professional dancers. This did not result in an ordinary yoga studio, but a place where movement knowledge and yoga teachings truly intertwine. The focus of the training is Vinyasa Krama, as well as the intertwining of Hatha Yoga principles with applied anatomy and physiology. It is particularly noteworthy that during the training, creativity, self-reflection, and self-directed learning are encouraged to discover and promote individual areas of interest.
The 200-hour yoga training is aimed at a broad spectrum: The training is for regularly practicing individuals who wish to become empathetic and dedicated yoga teachers, as well as yoga enthusiasts who want to deepen their personal practice to a new, more intense level. Furthermore, a strong community grows over the years: The network includes over 250 graduates.
200 and 300 Hours: Two Paths to Becoming a Yoga Teacher
The 200-hour training includes an extensive practical part as well as diverse theoretical blocks on yoga philosophy, ethics, and teaching methodology. The curriculum is designed to create a solid Vinyasa Yoga foundation and integrate holistic techniques such as meditation, pranayama, mudra, and mantra. Those who already have a basic training can also choose the advanced level: The 300-hour training explores the interaction of the Vinyasa Krama method with restorative techniques and holistic Hatha Yoga philosophy. Both formats primarily take place in person, with training weekends broadcast via livestream, allowing trainees to participate online for up to 30% of the training time. In addition, the training price includes a pass for a total of 20 in-person or online classes at KALAA Yoga Berlin. This keeps the practice alive even between weekends, and the yoga teacher training in Berlin becomes a true process of personal development.
