The Lausitztherme Wonnemar in Bad Liebenwerda is the wellness center of the southern Lower Lusatia, combining a fun pool, mineral forum, and sauna world under one roof. After an extensive renovation for approximately 18 million Euros, it presents itself today more spacious, peaceful, and versatile than ever before.

Since 2004, Lausitztherme Wonnemar has been an attraction for water enthusiasts and those seeking relaxation, not just from Lusatia. And rightly so. At Lausitztherme Wonnemar, visitors can expect a fun and sports pool, a mineral forum, a sauna world, a SPA and wellness area, a fitness club, and a restaurant. This makes Wonnemar much more than just an ordinary swimming pool in Brandenburg. The fun pool offers slides such as Kamikaze, Black Hole, Crazy River, Turbo, or the family slide, which makes this area particularly interesting for families with children. The outdoor area also features a Beach Club, inviting guests to relax outdoors during the summer months.

However, the heart of the facility for all wellness and thermal bath enthusiasts is the Mineral Forum. In the newly designed Mineral Forum, you will find relaxation, well-being, and new energy, even if you lack the time for an extended wellness vacation. Inside, the Mineral Forum radiates warmth and tranquility. Modern gray and green hues, acoustic ceilings, and wooden wall elements ensure this. For those who desire even more exclusivity: The new concept also incorporates the trend of a private SPA, a separately bookable area.

Sauna, Thalasso and Spa Treatment

After an elaborate renovation, in which approximately 18 million Euros were invested, including 14.3 million Euros in funding, Wonnemar’s sauna world appears more attractive than ever before. The indoor area is complemented by the newly designed Thalasso pool, an aroma steam bath, and a spring pool with cascade basins. In the new sauna world, all areas have also been revamped and equipped with new attractions. Particularly noteworthy is the graduation tower in the outdoor area. A wooden framework covered with brushwood allows water to trickle down fine branches, forming tiny salt aerosols. With an approximate 20 percent salt content, the lukewarm vapors are particularly healthy for the lungs and bronchial tubes.

The Mineral Forum has also been significantly expanded in the outdoor area, adding further pools and relaxation houses. In addition to the new vital pool and various warm whirlpools, there are several brine warm cabins. A covered walkway leads from the indoor area to the various relaxation houses, which have received different themes, including the relaxation house “1001 Nights”. For those who wish to structure their week: Every Tuesday there is a wellness day 60+, Thursdays a vitality day 50+ with water gymnastics, and Fridays a family day.
